Imagine a church that is defined not by the confines of the four walls that enclose it, but is as limitless as the possibilities of the human spirit. Imagine the possibilities when the church is not a place, or a destination, but a verb…actively involved with the world. Since 1989, South Reno United Methodist Church (SRUMC) has been part of the Reno area community, carrying out the mission and ministry of the United Methodist Church by trying — in all of our different ways — to open hearts, open minds, and open doors for Jesus Christ.  We are children, teenagers, young adults, and older adults; we are new to Christianity, and we have been Christians for decades; we are men and women, singles and couples, young and old, all seeking and helping to create the same thing: a community of love and welcome, firmly rooted in Jesus Christ, which can change the world. God is doing amazing things in and through SRUMC, and you are invited to be a part of it. Peruse our website at your leisure, and please call with any questions.
